Born in A Coruña, Spain, Senén started playing the piano at the age of six.
Under the tutelage of Irina Moryatova ,he was awarded the Extraordinary End of Career Award and later graduated with honours in the Superior Music Conservatorium of Coruña.
Senén has been awarded scholarships by the “Spanish Ministry for exchange studies” and both the “Diputación de A Coruña” and the “Galician Symphonic Orchestra Consortium” to study abroad.
After moving to the Netherlands, Senén continued his studies with belgian pianist Katia Veekmans for his Master’s degree, which he obtained in 2018. Senén has participated in the Aurora Music Festival in Goteborg ( Sweden), the Clavicologne International Piano Festival in Hamburg and in the Vocallis Music Festival & Competition in Vaals, where he was awarded the 3rd prize.
Senén had his debut with symphonic orchestra in 2016 with conductor Fernando Briones, after winning the Soloist Competition, performing the Rachmaninoff piano concerto no2. He also performed the Ravel Concerto in G under the direction of Henk Guittart in the Netherlands and after being accepted to the XVI Masterclass for Soloists by the Eutherpe Foundation, in the City of León Auditorium, coached by Bruno Aprea and Elza Kolodin.
Senén has received lessons and masterclasses by legendary pianists Alfred Brendel, Dimitri Bashkirov, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Michel Beroff, Giulianno Mazzocante, Ralf Natkempper, Enrico Pace, Antti Siirala, Elza Kolodin and Ronan O’Hora among others.
