Zaķe Sisters

This image is part of a series created for the Zaķe sisters in the Netherlands.

For this portrait, I wanted to position the sisters close together to convey a sense of unity, family and strength. Directing Stella to look to her left while her younger sister, Santa, rested on her shoulder and looked directly at the camera helped create that feeling of closeness and connection.
